I am more than convinced now that Congress has done some kind of a deal with Mayawati to support her govt from outside in Delhi, in case, a Modi led BJP falls a little short of its majority! Also, Nitish's aide has recently said that Congress is offering them an alliance. So that 15-20 seats from Bihar. But what will be interesting is, where will Laloo go? To counter Modi (a low-key BC), Cong is wanting to field Mayawati (a much advertised Jatav, SC). But how long will Cong be able to hold onto Mayawati and stop Modi - is the question. My guess, not more than an year or two, max, in the face of such an eventuality. But will that time prove costly for India?
