This is typical, when someone has a stronger argument, automatically a complex is created and the others view point is called condescending. The onus is not only on Rest of Ap, T-separatists also have to take responsibility instead of being an unreasonable man hating Princess with Daddy Issues. Between SA supporters and T-separatists, the SA supporters have been far more civil. This is all one state, T doesnt have any special entitlement to be treated with extra care by SA, shouldnt be Me, Me, Me always. | ||

Second, if 2 parties are not budging, then a well-wishing 3rd party enters to dissect the issues (in world matters, it is usually United Nations). In Telangana case, the SKC constiting of reputed neutral ppl gave a report refuting most of the arguments of T supporters. Still, T supporters say that they are sold, or whatever, but are NOT READY TO LISTEN. Ofcourse, this is akin to Jagan supporters blaming HC, SC, CBI, opposition, and everyone who seems to be not agreeing with them. I agree with you that majority may not change their opinion, at least not immediately. But, if at least some see the truth, I think the purpose of the book is achieved. Note that such kind of books and newspaper articles have been the source of inspiration, and debate, that shaped our culture and ideas the world over, and should be appreciated. | ||

Gents & Ladies, we have to understand, sensible T-people might also have no choice, lines have been drawn and sides taken. Now this is all about ego. If this was a marriage, they could have gone to relationship counselling and Madam-T would have been happy after knowing the facts, but in real life we have people like KCR and opposition. Cycle of hate will not stop that easily. Example 1: A T person realizes that a lot about movement are lies and sees the light after reading Parakalas book. An A person, infuriated by all the insults so far,now comes and screams "did you see the book? the movement is bogus, you call us cheaters, you are the cheaters, you are not only lazy but also thieving and conniving. T person is again angry with A and wants to separate. Example 2: A T person realizes that a lot about movement are lies and sees the light after reading Parakalas book. But still will not admit to being misguided because of ego, he hates it to admit it to the Andhras that they were wrong. T person still wants to separate. | ||

Then why do T supporters physically assualt anyone who wants to have a valid discussion on all the points raised? Why can't they sit across the table and support their assertions? Only people who cannot support their arguments resort to such violence. Ex: Please see section 5 about supposedly Nehru's speech that ignorant Telangana people are married to vile Andhra ppl. This gives photocopies of the newspapers of that time, and also quotes from the book on Nehru's speeches. Can you show any incident where the T supporters support their argument on this matter with such proof? | ||

Yes. that's the sad part of our politics, and people are to be blamed too for blindly believing opportunistic politicians and thier lies. Granting Telangana is a different issue, but the fact is that the current agitation is built on lies and opportunism. I strongly believe that straight thinking and educated people should atleast acknowledge this fact, irrespective of their "sentiment". | ||

Very insightful, well researched and comprehensive book. Kudos to Mr. N Chakravarthy, Parakala Prabhakar and others for their efforts. Hope this atleast brings some realization to some T supporters who are just swayed by the hate speeches.
