I understand your point of view. Studying too much will lead to lots of confusion about style of filmmaking. One need to stop studying films for a while if you really want to make a film.... I feel the best way to start is to start writng scripts...thats what I am doing currently.... almost stopped watching films from quite some time....but I would not miss the London film festival in Sept....there I will be able to watch more than 60 films in less than 15 days...that way I would cover most of the imp films of this year :-) | ||

Yeah. I worked on some TV programs, edited some short films, worked on another feature film recently....shot a 45 min short film but didnt edit it...thats the story in short. Currently on the verge of finishing my script. | ||

I am a film student but not from a college...I study films like any other subject. Some of my fav long takes are 1)Sopoyanje(Korean)----I literally cried watching this shot. 2)Touch of Evil 3)Satantango 4)Another Kieslowski's film I think....No long take can beat this....one of the most complex shots... | ||
