EK, Yep - HAHK and DDLJ came at a time where people were sick of violence and KArisma-Govinda's sarkailo khatiya type of double entendre ... Pinni, sarkar raj kaadu gaani over the period of time some section of people (above 10% of movie watchers in india) wanted some candid cinema, without emotions and stereo typed love scenes and family...shit , RGV simply cashed in even thogh his cinema it self satisfies only 10% of the things people hoped for. Anand ji I said compared to DDLJ sarkar raj was 1000 times better for me.....atleat its somewat real...never drifts from the plot....good performances...but yes the camera was horrible so is the background score...it gave me migraine.. I prefer serious cinema...but I will absolutely love to watch a masala entertainer for which I need someone like chiru to look beyond the superficial world they create.....or I need a comedy like hera pheri.... unfortunately DDLJ has no chiru nor its a comedy..... in varmas words DDLJ is about loving the love } | ||
