The Hindu mythology says Lord Brahma is the creator of the universe and of all beings, and his better-half Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of leaming, knowledge, and wisdom. The Sanskrit word sara means "essence" and swa means "self." Thus Saraswati means "the essence of the self." Goddess Saraswati is worshipped by all persons interested in knowledge, especially students, teachers, scholars, and scientists. Despite of our unflinching devotion towards Her, there seem to be not many temples for worship and prayers that hold significance except one in Basara, Adilabad Dist. With this novel thought few likeminded people have come together and started a Holy yagna to build yet another temple of the Goddess. This temple will be constructed in Pulivendula, YSR(Kadapa) Dist. The land has been acquired; plan approved by endowment department and the foundation has been laid for the Gharbhagudi. The temple land is situated in a pleasant atmosphere surrounded by trees, hillocks much to the delight of the devotees. Few salient features of the proposed Saraswati Devi temple: 100% vaastu compliant Temple will be built on a 5-plus acre land Gharbhagudi, Antaralayam & Mantapam – Pure Stone carved with sculpture Adhesive material between the stones is of Sand& Lime mixture Sabha Mantapam - 16 Pillars carved with sculpture Dhwaja Sthambham Land acquirement happened with no due harm to the environment The estimated cost of the construction of this magna opus service of building a temple is approximately र 1.5 crores ($280,000 dollars). We earnestly appeal to the readers via this forum to donate liberally for this noble cause and seek the blessings of the Goddess.
