uninstall avvatleda kaspersky? I don't like to waste time making a point on someone that ain't going to understand the point in the first place. I've installed Win 8 on one desktop, have been using for few months, didnt like it.. main reason is the missing Start(had a partial work around, but its still annoying), no drivers support for Brother printer etc.. I didnt feel its worth of upgrade at this time(may be good later). So, for my new computer build (see details here: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/zfG ), I h've used Win 7 Ultimate). Using Komodo on both the machines. | ||

The issue is that my computer came with kaspersky software. Unless i completely uninstall it, I can not make any changes to my windows defender. | ||

kaadu. MS given a wrong name. old Windows defender is for spyware. later MS purchased some other av company and started giving Security Essentials for free.. with win8, not sure why they renamed as Windows defender again.. even though UI of both is same | ||

Thanks brother. Ipude inkoka friend kuda cheppaadu. Kaani security essential is only for 'non windows 8' ku anta kadaa like XP,Vista, windows7 etc. windows 8 tho paatu 'Windows defender' ani vathundi anta. Daanini 'on' lo pedithe vere security software akkarledu ani hitha bodha chesaadu. | ||

mi internet provider evaru.. they provider norton or mcafe for free for their customer.. as long as you are connected through their network you can download and install. it does not ask any license. Comcast gives you norton.. Papi gadu post este katthi la digali | ||
