Jagan offers sweets to Gali in jail Published Date : 10-Jan-2013 22:00:00 GMT It was celebration time for VVIP prisoners in Chanchalguda jail on Friday. Reason: former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, the prime accused in the Obulapuram illegal mining case, celebrated his 45th birth day in the jail. According to reports from inside the jail, Gali performed special prayers to Lord Siva within the jail premises and spent a gala time along with other fellow VVIP prisoners including his brother in law B Srinivas Reddy, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, suspended officials B P Acharya and K V Brahmananda Reddy etc. Jagan is learnt to have got some sweets from outside and distributed them among the fellow prisoners to mark the birthday of Gali. Though there was no cake cutting, the prisoners enjoyed the celebrations. Even the jail officials joined the party, it is learnt. |
