Maverick:Having said this, the film seems completely a futile exercise and a manipulative movie. We don't know what Prakash Raj does for living. Going by the story, we come to know that he gets livelihood by smiling at other people (seriously)? We are not told what Venkatesh's educational qualifications are and why he is not finding work or job. The director focuses the story thread entirely on his unemployment. Throughout the movie, Rao Ramesh behaves unreasonably jealous towards Prakash Raj's family and finds fault with Prakash Raj's attitude. But in a single scene he finds greatness in Prakash Raj, just because an MLA gave importance to him. And it looks so silly that just because Prakash Raj smiled at the MLA and gave pulihora in the temple premise, the MLA gives importance to Prakash Raj. The film has full of such weak characters, artificial scenes. Of the lot Mahesh Babus characterization is practical and close to reality.
obvious details enduku cheppali....both the brothers are finding it difficult to get a job, there is pressure from society and their ego...thats the plot interestingly, characters ki perlu kuda pettakunda movie antha nadipinchadu...samantha kuda chinnoda ani pilusthadi...remember, seetha character kuda last lo mamayya, athayya valla abbayi valla avida vacham ani cheppiddi ....director chose not to reveal trivial details like in english movies.. |

do u really believe the reviews then hasini character was next to savithri according to many..but we all what a bunch of crock it is....it was one of the most irritating charcters ever and we can still see heroines acting like 6 yr old kids and calling themselves cute..... every director who gets a mike in his hand tells that his movie is a social reforming master piece and every reviewer tells u that any social movie is for the family, society blah blah...ignore the reviewer these days every guy with a keyboard and FB acct is a reviewer...its their opinion they r thrusting upon us... |

this is nitpicking at its worst....every telugu movie is full of artificiality and cliches in every scene...when u dont ask what a hero's qualifications, job schedule, fathers job description are for a mass movie then why question in a family movie... then in this case this line of questioning has to be mandatory in every movie like disclaimers at the end of each product... most family movies are full of artificial scenes starting from HAHK with dances, songs, marriage scenes but they r called movies for a reason |

Despite no story at all, full of artificial moments and ill-developed characterization of the lead characters, SVSC works to some extent in the end thanks to its last 20 minutes and its inherent goodness that makes you forget many silly scenes. Srikanth Addala's climax sequences make you moist-eyed as most of us (Indian audiences) feel bloated with happiness when the movie extols the family values in the end. The charm of the lead actors - Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh and their performances are biggest asset to the movie. While the ever-dependable Venkatesh who has done this kind of roles in the past lends dignity, it is Mahesh Babu who stands as a pillar to the film with his performance, dialogue delivery, mannerisms and charm. Having said this, the film seems completely a futile exercise and a manipulative movie. Of the lot Mahesh Babu’s characterization is practical and close to reality. sollu..sollu Who is this DB member? |

http://movies.fullhyderabad.com/seetamma-vakitlo-sirimalle-c hettu/telugu/seetamma-vakitlo-sirimalle-chettu-movie-reviews -5245-2.html Irrespective of their financial status, people have large houses - large enough to accommodate dozens of people at a time, and large enough for young girls to gracefully run around in during wedding preparations. The brothers go through a variety of situations that elicit different emotions from them (and about three expressions from Mahesh), and their relationship, the equivalent of the uncooked rice we spoke about earlier, is what is explored here. Even the bad guys, who simply voice their opinions, aren't very nasty. SVSC's main flaw lies in the depiction of the brothers. Their main grouse with life seems to be not that they are unproductive and unemployed, but that everyone calls them that. You never know what it is that Chinnodu does in Hyderabad. Towards the end of the film, he attends an interview in some hot-shot company (Google? Microsoft?), where the interview panel rejects him because he has a "fake smile" (and because that will deter him from leading a team in future). Peddodu never tries to find a job on his own anyway, and no one really knows why he broods all the time. While there are many tender moments between the brothers, the chemistry between them is not clear. When they talk and resolve issues, do they have some underlying tension, or are they simply men being emotionally inexpressive men? Mahesh mumbling dialogues doesn't help, and Venkatesh is not given what he is really worth. This is more a Mahesh film, and his character gets to go through a wide range of emotions here, unlike Venkatesh, who rarely gets to be truly happy.
