Like Nokia earlier (though not anymore), IN is one of the few markets where Sony has still a good market share (though less than Samsung and LG) and a premium positioning. They are trying to consolidate and strengthen. Btw - samsung is targeting $10 Bn this year itself in revenues from India. | ||

Samsung is the world leader in flat panels and TVs, they even supply displays to Apple. India lo preferable to go for Samsung or LG. Good after sales service. Asale ee Japanese companies are not in good shape (both Pana and Sony). They are in deep financial troubles, compromising on service and quality can happen...risk enduku...safe ga Samsung theeskunte problem undadhu. | ||

My parents got a Samsung 42 inch Samsung LED recently (55000). Bane undi. But somehow i liked the LCD/ Plasma image better than the LED and it comes much cheaper. LED lo manchi movies kooda TV serial effect vosthadi, enduko.. Room size entha, dani batti theesukovatam manchidi..i still have a 21 inch TV. | ||
