I have been to plays even 15 years back that had subtitles that were shown on a screen alongside. For a high-tech performance like this, it is not difficult to have subtitles above or below the stage... | ||

The Good - Kingdom of Dreams is a theatre and entertainment centre in Gurgaon. Jhumroo is their current show at the theatre. A definite must see for folks visiting Delhi or Gurgaon. Obviously for folks who have been to a Vegas might find it passe, but for us resident Indians, it is a pretty awesome show. Fantastic production, set design, awesome lighting, acoustics, good selection of songs, interesting audience interactive elements..i was totally blown away. The Bad - On the flip side, the choreography does get tiresome and repetitive at places. Editing could be tighter and some scenes could be cut or shortened. 90 mins would be a good length, not 130 mins. Lead performers could be better. Above all, subtitles would have helped as the show attracts a lot of foreign tourists and i had to spend a lot of explaining the scenes to colleagues. The Ugly - 0 degrees at Gurgaon, the coldest i have ever been in my life. I was afraid of peeing lest i have an icicle hitting the floor....how can you firangs live in that cold in US... |
