Two strikingly similar/opposite cases happened in Delhi: 1. 1988 -> Syed Modi - 8 time consecutive national badminton champion and won some international titles too including commonwealth games. He was murdered in 1988. His wife Amita is #1 accused in charges filed by police. But prosecution utterly failed to prove his wife killed him. Oh, BTW, she later married Sanjay Singh then chota congress leader and current MP from Sultanpur.  2. 1995, Delhi: Sushil Sharma, (cong MLA from delhi) and his wife Naina Sahni also congress worker. She was frequently visiting her friend Matloob Karim also cong worker. Oka roju Sushil intiki ragane she was talking on phone and quickly hang up. Sushil took the phone and redialled the number to find Matloob at other end. Sushil shot his wife and killed and took her body to his friend's hotel and burnt in oven. Court vadiki uri sikhsa vesindi 2003 lo. his appeal is still pending with supreme court. | ||

Two notorious criminals: Billa & Ranga kidnapped two children Geeta Chopra & Sanjay Chopra in 1978 for a ransom from their parents. But vallu velthuna car accident kavadam tho thalakrindula ayyindi. Police found the dead bodies of children couple of days later and autopsy revealed that Geeta Chopra was raped. Police later caught both the culprits and court found guilty. Both were hanged to death in 1982.
