A cast comprising the Bachchan trio (Amitabh-Abhishek-Aishwarya) and a sequel to Sarkar were strong enough reasons to generate curiosity value for the film and fetched in a decent audience. With its pro-Maharashta theme, the film won a hit status in Maharashtra along with some south territories. The business in other areas was decent enough to gain a semi-hit tag and the film was an overall profit maker. |
