Many corporates too hold huge stashes of black money .. monne bayata padindi chusaav ga .. My point is .. I dont want to pay an extra 5 Rs a kilo on rice to let Kishore Biyani or Mukesh Ambani build a 30 floor Antilla in South Mumbai (just an example) .. The tax evasion thing of small shopkeepers, is a concern, I agree. But the govt could have plugged it long ago, if it had the will to curb black money. But the govt itself wants black money in the system. Its conduct and actions are proof enough. In that context, I would trust a local shop-keeper than a globe-trotting retailer in a two piece. good point. kani kirana shops vaallu(mostly vysyas) choopinche life style ki actual wealth ki chala difference untundi.. even thats not my concern. veellu kooda one of the section with hugeeeeee black money holders. evvadu sariga tax kattadu.. I dont mind paying additional price if these ppl stop practicing tax evasion. | ||

Anyday I prefer Kirana stores to "giant corporate retailers" who take huge sops from govt .. I am a middle class consumer .. I can support the lifestyle of a middle class shopkeeper with my business .. I cant support the lifestyle of a rich wealthy retail company owner, its just logical for me to save the buck! Kirana / Pachaari shops lo Quality test vundadhu... Dal or any daily commodity lo there will several grades / types of goods items available...common man ki very very hard to identify the quality...they all look similar... A good mall reputation is at stake, since its the largest attraction and crowd pulling center for many activities...they try to sell commodities which are reasonable quality with no compromise... Mall ki velthey adho tutthi....shopping cart vesukoni...Vegetables, groceries, meat produce, general items anni okkasaari "Credit Card" dwara toseyyachu...malls also promote several discounts and are easily visible...kirana lo aithey adigithey kaani teliyadhu...or beram aadithey gaani ivvaru.. kirana lo Credit card chelladhu...intlo edhanna urgent ga ayipothey then we see for immediate chillara varthakadu.... life style changes....lot of ppl are preferring Supermarket / Mall shopping as one of their outing... | ||

Many of the super markets ki own distribution & dealership untundi. so, vaallaki many goods come at distributor price. that is 30-40% profit margin. Medical aithe cheppe pani ledu. 60% esukovachu. kaani vaallaki 30% profit margin unna they sell most of the goods at MRP. kakapothe Kirana kanna veellaki shop maintenance, salaries lo aa profit konchem cover avutundi. overall, both are more or less. atleast I prefer super market as long as money is going into govt pockets. kaani veellu monopoly & govt policies support (cronyism) tho migata industries annitini control chestaremo ani bhayam. (esp agri sector) | ||

oka electronic equipment visayam lo tappa annitlonu kirana&traditional shops are very best anedi naa experiance.... examples: nenu velle shettikottu vs malls axescent :bigbazaar etc lo same rate kani 150rs....kottu lo 125-130 istadu naku pen cells:10 konte same rate in malls: 70rs padindi kottulo... same with soaps,pastes,ravvalu,& other stationary... ivi kakunda sankrantiki naku 2 sweet packets of sivarama.... shopping malls like bigbazaar,cmr central,vizag central,...vijayawada lo lepl etc lo unnarats tho patu tax denemma .... ayina manollu malls ke egabadutunnaru...  i am leading a pious life so far so good |
