Subhash Patri (widely known as Patriji) was born in 1947 at Shakkar Nagar of Nizamabad Dist. (Andhra Pradesh) to P.V. Ramana Rao and Savitri Devi. With the aim of making ' Spiritual Paradise on Earth ' by the year 2020, Patriji founded Pyramid Spiritual Societies movement in 1990. Enlightenment and controversy Patriji became enlightened in 1979 ... after some serious experiments with meditation. Since then, Patriji began striving hard to awaken and enlighten each and every individual. Further, in the following decade, he completed reading more than 50000 books on science of spirituality and science of meditation. It has remained a controversy of Patriji in contesting in local elections through his representatives and ending up with sudden withdrawal from the contest before the date of elections. incidents in Mehboob Nagar where his posters where torn for his comments on politics. few great and staunch followers left him with undisclosed reasons. Enlightenment and being called enlightened(Bramharshi means who knows what god knows) invited controversy when Kurnool which is the place from which he started his journey with his unique concept was hit by flood and the same was not even seen of forseen by him where he claims to have contacts with souls of Aristotle, God Krishna, e.t.c., recently when the media reported about his misbehavior with female followers no sort of resistance from his side made another wing of controversy and an added one goes like that where a land of premium price which belongs to the government of andhra pradesh was encroached and and small pond was also alleged to have been grabbed to build a parking place for his Kendra which was acknowledged by the local RDO.
