Vizag lo Port okkate kaadhu.....Fishing Harbour kooda undhi (bangaru kodipetta song) - berths daaniki kooda unataaayi.... Fishing harbour lo berths ki - commercial harbour ki berths ki DIFFERENCE entha untundho - Navayuga vallaki baagaane thelusu... Navayuga was into Engg contracts - later they ventured into even aqua farming in Orissa.....and in the late 90s into software also..... aina just because they did not have the experience does not mean they are not supposed to handle the Port or build it. I am questioning the need for Krishnapatnam port - if it has good business - well and good.... Private - nashtam emi ledhu Govt ki ante - what about the resources - huge land that was given to the Port.....roads & railway lines that were laid for this project etc etc...... And most important - I was focussing on the Adani - Mundra port...... | ||

chennai port is heavily loaded & krishnapatnam port has the advantage of supplementing it.... secondly, its deep sea, capable of handling bigger containers etc..... its definetely a value proposition.. anyways, kattindi private vade kada.... govt ki vachina nastam em ledu... | ||

Business will be there - but not to the required extent....Navayuga is a Infra company and Ports is new to them - even though they have thier Engg Services office in Vizag - but not involved in Vizag Port... Krishnapatnam port was set up with the objective of exporting Bellary Iron Ore to Asian Countries.....and that has stopped now. Bellary Iron ore export was about 60-70% of the cargo volume in Krishnapatnam port.... | ||

Mundra atleast had a strategic location as the western tip of India.....plus having Petronet LNG and GSPC (another fraud company) in the hinterland.... | ||
