Union minister of state for surface transport Survey Satyanarayana is of the view that the time is not yet ripe for the formation of Telangana state. Speaking to the media in Vijayawada on Monday, the minister said the process for Telangana state formation would start only when there was a favourable political atmosphere for the Congress party. âThe Congress high command is aware that if the Telangana state is given, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi will get benefitted. So, there is no question of Telangana state being given now,â he said. Interestingly, Survey also observed that Telangana region was more developed than the Seemandhra region. âThere should be development in both the regions.
