40 with materials is dead heap. For me it's 75 per outlet, materials not included. Tv mount luckily I covered with decor. Projector wire, I need to still figure out. I use it only once a week that too for 3hrs. I will keep it unplugged all the time. Planning to take risk of just dropping it in the wall.though I get outlet installed, the projector cord is long..so I have to tie it at the top.not sure how it would look that way Who is this DB member? |

Maverick:How would you install a surge protector if its a outkrt directly behind tv
My electrician charges $40 for every wall outlets (with plug-ins) with all the materials included. The day before I got my TV, called this guys and had him put an outlet where I was going to wall mount the TV. Bought the TV from PC Richard along with the mount. Negotiated to have them wall mount for free. |

You or someone can run extension cord behind the wall. It works but against the electrical code. As long as you know what you are doing (taking risk) you should be fine. |

Effect kosam immediately use chesanu. Here is the scenario..wall mount chesanu tv..for power cord, I just need to hide 1.5 ft to 2 ft distance of that cord and other av wires behind the wall to give a clean look. I know technically I can't run a power cord in the wall. But does it really matter for this short length. I will keep checking this wire frequently to ensure its good and tape it enough so that any future cracks are covered.. Do u think I can do that or have to go with the power bridge solution.
