When you have laptops connecting in b/g/n mode to 2.4 band, everything falls down to b speed which is the lowest of all. The 2.4 GHz radio can work at only one speed. You have no other option as laptop's build-in wireless works at 2.5 Ghz. One solution is to put USB-wifi that works at 5 Ghz. | ||

After banging head for many days finally i could break the ice. My laptop has N version wireless card with only 2.4gh capabilities. So my main router which had 2.4 and 5.gh radio signal capabilities can only enable one of them. So i made router to enable 2.4 with n g etc together.. so my laptop can connect to my router in N mode and my other laptops can connect in g b modes without any issues. now my laptop is getting faster speeds. For n mode only security which works is wap2 personal.. Papi gadu post este katthi la digali |
