if you are interested, there is a series of books called Uncle Eric's books on government and society.........a series of 11 books.....pdfs available online.......not volumes and volumes to read........simple and basic content.... very nice read.....normally I dont recommend reading books........but these give a good perspective on societies and rational behavior.....being a liberal and conservative......most basic fundamental concepts...... | ||

Dont put ur interpretation as my opinion. Rape is a crime and there should be justice for the victim. ee case lo police response is very swift.. I did not say protests are unnecessary for revisiting the existing laws for punishment. but some of the demands are not in the good spirits is what my feeling. like suggesting for brutal and torturous treatment for the culprits. so far I hardly see any constructive measures suggested by this protesters for improving the security measures rather coming with more creative punishments with all brutality possible on earth. | ||

This is very generic statement.Nobody can deny that heinous that incident it.On what basis you think that this mob mentality or agitations will changes the judicial and legal system..Instead of thinking what would be the best punishment, we really need to sit and understand what causes such behavior? There is difference. People are protesting against the system in place and to get better laws. They are asking for the permanent solution n quick punishment for the guilty.... Which is totaly justified. But the use of tear gas n water cans on studens and women is that justified????
