Chithirai nela: Rahman is all about orchestration.... heavy music ayipoindi ar songs ani baadha pade vallaki very apt song.... very less number of instruments.... vijay yesudas single shoulder carry chesaaadu greatttt melodious number......... Rating 4/5 Adiyeeee: Vinangaane YMC lo aromaleeee song gurthukosthundi.... konchem variety song.... again with not too many instruments and you cant call this one a melody.... it would grow on you on multiple hearingss Rating: 3.5/5 Moongil thottam: first duet in a love story. Very melodious song and unlike the previous song, this one grows on you instantaneously if you like melodies. Rating: 4/5 Elay Keechan: This is trademark AR Rahman song. In every album of AR's, there would be a pick of song which you can identify even without listening to the audio. The song would have been sung by AR himself. It would be the pick of the lot, arguably best of the album. And this song, my dear friends, is that pick of the album. Sung by AR himself. Rating: 4.5/5 Nenjukkule: Another melodious number. Keeping the album's flow, with not so heavy instrumentation a very soothing melody. This song has just one glitch. In a smooth flow of the lady singer's voice, suddenly something seems to go wrong and the flow gets disturbed! and pretty immediately the flow catches up. I'm not a person with music knowledge, hence I'm unable to express what it is. May be someone like MPS bhaiyya would be able to point it out! Rating: 3.5/5 (would have been 4 easily if not for that glitch) Anbil Vaasale: A standard Rahman song with lot of chorus and somewhat moderately heavy orchaestration. This one too grows on you on repeated hearing Rating: 3.25/5 Magudi Magudi: Behold folks, if you have been missing 'Fanaaa' kind of songs (of yuva) from AR, then this one's for you! A very peppy, pub number that would set the dance floor on fire. What I wonder is where would this fit in movie which is a lovestory based on fishermen's life! Rating: 4/5 Note: in the version of magudi song that I was listening, there is a huge blank in this song. blank in the sense, there is no song for almost a minute and then song resumes automatically.
