Here are some of the big predictions from Hollinger that became true. 1) Jordan Hill trade would be a huge plus for the lakers. This prediction was made immediately after the trade. Not even our coach realized the value of Jordan Hill. 2) Lamar Odom would regress by quite a bit after winning the 2010 season. Hollinger admits that he was surprised by the actual decline. 3) Ironically, Memphis grizzles were making a huge mistake by letting OJ Mayo leave last year for 2 year 4 Mil deal. 4) Indiana Pacers made a huge blunder in trading away Collision. 5) Ersan Ilyasova would regress this season. 6) Ryan Anderson's was one of the steals of last year's free agency. Of course he also developed the single most important basketball number: player efficiency rating (PER). | ||

For NBA followers. Memphis grizzles have hired John Hollinger as VP of Basketball Operations. Excellent hire. I think he would make Grizzles into a contender. |
