This tut is for xb360ISO,BM,BS,360H,TPS,TF,PS3H,CCDB,XPG,PS3N,FTN,BG,scc,te, XL. Recently I had seen there are too many questions about how to connect your PS3 to monitor!I had never faced a problem connecting my console to my monitor,I use to think why people can't understand simple thing,most of the people use to report a PS3 black screen of death(BSOD) problem.The solution everyone including sony support team tells is to holding the power button until you hear the second beep,but some people still report the problem of BSOD. First time today I had come across this faulty signal from my cable on my new Samsung S24B370H LED Monitor.Then I had tried connecting my PS3 to my another monitor which worked perfectly,also tried same PS3 on CRT Monitor which worked like a charm,again tried it on Samsung S24B370H Monitor,which had given me BSOD faulty signal,Some of the users had also reported this problem who are using their Television. The solution is simple,it's not rocket science. So getting to the point. TUT 1:How to connect console to monitor. Requirements:1)Computer Monitor 2)Console 3)RCA Y-ADAPTER(3.5mm 2 female to 1 male audio cable) 4)TV tuner card(if you are using a console without HDMI port). 5)HDMI cable(1.3 version or greater). 1)Connect the one end of HDMI cable to the computer monitor(HDMI cable is availabe in various versions,you must get the 1.3 version or greater,latest is 1.4 which is used for good 3D signal). 2)Connect the another end of HDMI cable to PC. 3)Turn on the monitor,you will see the picture but you will not hear any audio from it,then you will ask yourself how the •••• I can get the audio. 4)The solution is simple,get your consoles AV cable,use the RCA adapter to connect the audio sources(red and white pins),and you can connect the adapter in the middle of the audio and mic source.Easy na. For the people who are facing the PS3 BSOD error even after resetting the video settings,show the middle finger to sony support centre and Samsung support centre and follow this tut. 1)Follow the steps in TUT-1. 2)Connect the AV cable(yellow source) to your TV tuner card. 3)Turn on your PS3 and you will be surprised to see the picture on your monitor from the HDMI source with excellent pic quality on your LED monitor. I am still trying to figure out why it is only giving the BSOD problem to some Monitors and Televisions,and how the heck some are working. I am also trying to figure out why do we have to connect the AV cable,though we get the Video signal using HDMI cable(used for both Video and Audio),why it is taking the screen to BSOD. Post your questions if you have any problem getting it to work.
