Got to watch Life of Pi 3d today - whattay movie.. mind blowing.. hats off to ang lee (he goes into my list of akira kurosawa, scorcese and other greats).. yes the movie is slow but make it fast you lose the soul Suraj Sharma as the main Pi character was fantastic and he is a debutant Irrfan Khan was amazing in the screen time he had and his narration added to the poignancy Tabu and Adi Hussain (Pi's mom and dad) - very good.. tabu looked so beautiful Ultimately 'Richard Parker' the tiger - oh man sooper CGI creation Now I had one touching moment in the movie: When Pi meets Anandi the girl he likes in India he follows her in the market in the back ground comes a bit of a kishore kumar song from Aandhi "Tum aagaye ho Noor aagaya hai" the bit that plays out.. so beautiful.. who ever had helped Ang Lee in Indian setting has certainly did a good job |
