Indians lost Questioning power. Our Education system and HRD need to be blamed. The word 'Hindu' evolved late in the history. We never see this word in Ramayana or Mahabaratha. Pitty thing is we chant/play/recollect it when somebody dies. But it has to be played/read in everday of LIFE.....but not AFTER LIFE. Majority of the Indians/Hindus lost the capability of understanding and practising the complex nature of our DHARMA. | ||

When there was a serious threat to Hindu religion with mass exodus from Dalits, then to make it simple and RITUAL FREE (from Brahmin dominant Temple culture).........lot of new babas/gurus evolved to hold the Hindu folks together. We should see in that angle. Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya was the first guru who brought unity among Shaiva-Vaishnavas. He preached and toured alot. Knowledge and Wisdom are two synonms of Adi Shankaracharya. Next comes Ramakrishan Paramahamsa, Vivekananda, Prabhu pada, Chinmayananda. Shirdi Sai baba is nothing. He is just fakeer. Forms of Gods...........In my brain some threads in background...........Once I get a clarity.....I will publish it. Except Rama, Sita and Hanuma none of the characters in Ramayana acclaimed the God stature. Except Krishna, none of the characters in Mahabaratha acclaimed the God stature. Pancha boothas, Navagrahas, Asta dikpalakas are not actual gods. Can anyone show me one reference where the characters in Mahabaratha (dwaparayugam) re used any of the names used in Ramayana? But we are doing it in Kaliyuga. Can anyone enlighten me on whether Numulu, Vrathalu (not yajna, yagalu) were performed during Ramayana and Mahabaratha? | ||
