While the dumping of Devender Goud is being deemed as a major blow to the Telugu Desam Party and especially to the party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu, it is being heard that about two months ago Naidu was getting a whiff of something like this coming and at that point of time he was under great stress. So much so, that he had decided to call it quits to politics and migrate to Singapore to take care of his businesses and spend the rest of his life there. In this process, he had wanted to give the reigns of power to Harikrishna but then resistance emerged from senior leaders like Yanamala Ramakrishnudu who were not happy with the party head position becoming a family property. There is also another talk that it is the curse of Lakshmi Parvathy that has befallen on Naidu and now with Megastar Chiranjeevi announcing his arrival and Goud slipping away, Naidu is said to be under severe stress and the future for the party seems to be looking very bleak in the coming elections. TDP bites mud in Telengana region, due to the fight between Congress, Goud and TRS.
