Arvind Kejriwal has taken on Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in his latest expose. According to Kejriwal, in the Gujarat elections, Modi and Congress “appear” to be politically pitched against each other. But documents reveal that behind the curtains, they are happy doing business with each other and with same set of people. Here are the main points of Kejriwal's allegations: -Suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt provided documents exposing Modi's corrupt practices. Sanjiv Bhatt's wife is contesting the poll against Narendra Modi on a Congress ticket. - If Congress is Mukesh Ambani’s dukaan, then is Modi government Adani’s dukaan?In 2007, Gujarat government entered into two agreements with Adanis to supply electricity at Rs 2.35 and Rs 2.89 per unit respectively, which was expensive than the Rs 2.25 per unit offer of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation(a Gujarat Government PSU) which also owned coal blocks for generating power. - But a few days later, the Adani group resorted to blackmail by refusing to supply electricity till they were supplied coal by Gujarat Government.When the GMDC hesitated is doing so, Modi transferred its Chairman and redirected some of its coal allotment to Adani.Despite this, Adanis cancelled their contract for supplying power in 2009. forcing the government to buy the same electricity from Adani under short term contracts at Rs 5.5 per unit. -Modi allotted land to Adanis in Kutch and many other parts of Gujarat at throwaway prices. -Modi allotted plots of land to its MPs and MLAs in prime areas of Gandhinagar at highly concessional rates. Instead of building houses on them, they have sold these plots at much higher rates.When the Gujarat High Court stayed the sale of these plots, Modi gave concessional plots to all the sitting, retired and promoted judges in 2010 to silence them. - Modi has gifted away 20% of Gujarat State petroleum Corporation's stake to Geo Global and Jubilant Enpro Pvt. Ltd , 10 % each.The value of this “gift” given by Modi Government would be Rs 10,000 crores to each of the two companies. - Geo Global was incorporated just six days before their agreement with GSPC. It is owned by Jean Paul Roy.In turn, Geo Global was supposed to provide technical assistance to the Gujarat government.Geo Global’s technical competence is questionable according to CAG.Their “technical expertise” was so flawed that Gujarat government had to hire another technical consultant. -Jubilant Enpro Pvt. Ltd is owned by Shyam Sunder Bhartia, who is husband of Mrs Shobhana Bhartia.
