I have been to one neighborhood in Orlando, FL. Almost 75% homes in that neighborhood have swimming pools. Is this a Bangalore family you are referring to. Because i too know a Kannada family who had a kid drowned at a party in the US. In Freakonomics or in of their NYTimes blogs, the authors say that more people die from swimming pool accidents in US than due to non-usage of car seats but there are no regulations around this. | ||

in addition pool vunte fence vundali and insurance kooda ekkuve.. there is an incident in US 4 years back where a family went to a friends house for a party, their kid (3yrs old) went to the pool of the host's neighbor and drowned there.. there was a iron fence but the door was not locked/latched..
