One of my cousin needs to travel to Houston or Dallas in Januray 2013. He is coming to the dollar land to complete his MS and earn dollars to imporve his family's financial situation (with great difficulty his parents are borrowing money from all sides to fund him as much as they can minus the scholarships he is getting). From my side I proposed them to sponsor his air ticket... Thought if I can hold onto my desires like buying Macbook, LED, tablet for one season, I should be able of some help to him to land in the US. Now, my questions which I need your help is : Should I buy ticket online (Hyd to US - one way) ? I have never done that beofre as I have travelled to USA always thru company (courtesy thomas cook :-)). Should I use Credit card of India or US ? Which wil work cheaper to repay in $ or in rupees ? Going thru travel agent will be a good bet or should I try directly from the official airline websites ? B/w he is scheduled for his visa interview this week. Hope he gets the stamping done without any issues... Suggestions / Advises welcome... |
