He has good sense of humor it seems.. But I felt he is a bit impatience and rigid, both are not suitable for a politician. A guy who spoke of hope coming out of loksatta, loosing hope in JP just surprised me. There is no better person than JP, who could explain the root of the problems in the simplistic manner possible. I guess if he is any developed nation, would have become president by this time. | ||

Eventhough Dr. Mitra is a medical doctor, he has amazing knowledge on world matters. Dr.Mitra gaari interview brought back memories of Vidhya, vaidhyam,moulika sadupaayaalu :-) Basic Education - Till Std. 10th for everyone in good quality Govt schools especially in the rural areas. Basic Health - Well equipped PHCs in every Gram Panchayat with a proper Hospital in every mandal HQ. PHCs - Should be able to administer medicines for TB, snake bites, minor accidents etc. mandal level Hospital should be able to treat major accidents and first level of treatment for Heart Attacks etc Dist level general hospital with good hygeinic facilities and zero corruption by the staff. All PHCs and Hospitals working round the clock. Payments / treatment based on the Aadhar ID controlled by a e-Gov Health initiative. Basic Transport - APSRTC bus facility to all gram panchayats connecting all Gram Panchayats to atleast the Mandal HQ and subsequently to other Mandal HQs and Dist HQs. Basic Energy - Solar panelled electricity in all villages (Not Solar farms)and panelled street lighting in all Muncipalities. Go off grid for these and grid to be diverted to Industries and high value domestic consumers. Except the last point - all of the others were his brain child...and included in the manifesto. | ||
