In that video they showed bunch of poor kids (mostly in slums) receiving all these shoe box gifts. The video happens to have a clip from HYDERABAD, India. Bottom line is - as they were distributing to those poor kids, The distrubutor were saying it was a gift from Jesus and hence they need to thank Jesus and convert to Christianity. In the world, there used to be only one sect of Christians - Catholics. Once, King of England wanted to marry another woman and sent a request to Roman Church. They either denied or delayed. Thats the catholic church rule. Catholic Church (Church of Rome) does not recommend divorce. If you (any catholic in this world) ever gets divorced, that divorce needs to be approved by catholic church in Rome. Only after their approval of the divorce, one can get married again (I am not sure if they need permission for this though). As you can imagine, all True catholics, try to stick to their marriage and if they ever get divorced, they will send a request for approval.So, there is a long waiting time for that approval and it is practically impossible to get the approval in one's life time. May be that is the reason why they say second marriage is not recognized | ||
