after the death of YSR, rosiaiah govt released a circular stating the progress of jalayagnam and progress of all irrigation projects under it.
it says, 90% projects are more than 75% completed.
and except polvaram, pranahita chevella, uttarandra sujala sravanti, kanthanapally and dummugudem... rest of the projects registered really good progress.
since subsequent govts delayed these projects intentionally/untentionally, things have come this far. otherwise YSR would have got full credit for his efforts of jalayagnam.

dont forget recently they gave 1phase Kalwakurthy lift irrigation near ellur/kollapur was jsut a Test Run they wont even give 1.25 TMC allocation and those all LIFT IRRIGATION come with cost .. without power/current not a single drop will be lifted ...
