All these years, scientists, working as well as retired, were not willing to express their apprehensions about GM crop technology. It has taken long, but probably inspired by the people's opposition to Bt brinjal spearheaded by the Coalition for GM Free India, Indian scientists are finally standing up against GM crops. Some 100 scientists have written to Supreme Court.
