For the past one week, there has been speculation in Tamil media that Gautham Menon has revived his ambitious film - Yohan with our Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Apparently, Gautham Menon himself revealed this to a Tamil language movie magazine while discussing about his forthcoming films. He's currently finishing his current trilingual love story - Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu which is slated for release on December 14th. According to Tamil media, Gautham Menon already narrated the storyline to Mahesh Babu and got a nod from him. Gautham wanted this film to make it in Tamil and Telugu with Tamil superstar Vijay but things didn’t work out. So he put the plan off, for some time. Now, he wants to do the same film with Mahesh Babu in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Gautham Menon has good rapport with Mahesh Babu despite the fact that he parted away ties with the superstar's sister Manjula on a bitter note before the release of Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (YVM). Manjual produced YVM with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the direction of Gautham Menon but they could not continue their friendship/production partnership after its release. It remains to be seen whether this project really materializes since Gautham Menon has announced many films in Telugu that didn’t go to the sets. Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is busy two films ( Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Sukumar's directorial venture) and has committed three more films next year - 1. A film in the direction of Dookudu director Srinu Vaitla 2. Another for Puri Jagannadh 3. Vamsi Paidipalli's Krishna Mukunda Murari. |
