keeping aside the long term effects and toll on nations defict and inflation, short term effects are like this. 1)Bush tax cuts are to expire in dec 2012. These are not for wealthy only but the entire tax code. obama will not continue them. it is estimated atleast 5% increase for people with 100-200k bracket. 2)Obamacare if not repealed will rise taxes starting middle of 2013. It is already included in plan. it is buy design that these tax rises wont become effective untill after 2012 elections. Thats another 3% With inflation and possible rise in gas proces, and wage stagnation due to poor economy, we should get ready for 10% of pay checks gone with same wages and increasing family expenses. god forbids id he wins, we will be on slippery path to hell.
