oh man. so close yet so far. bad luck sania and better luck and fitness in next tourney. leka leka oka woman tennis star vacchindi ani mana vallu hype ekkuva chestaru. she(family) looks like the one demanding it too. she better focus on her game and fitness without outside influences. havent seen her game for last 3 yrs but she definitely has some weaknesses in serve and fitness I guess. top 20 ki velle antha scene aithe ledu. | ||

coming to privelege....Sani Mirza stays in a hotel sposnsored by Indian high commission and other sponsors....driven all the way to championships by car each day..... do you know what other girls do.......they share a dormitory....inlduing Nicole Vaidisova.......and practise at wimbledon......ninna ratri....after a grand autograph session arranged by HSBC Sania was treated like a star and followed it with a party last night......courtesy......Indian High commisiion London (my cousin works there).......eeroju match...you expect her opponent to throw it for our Sania? Elca.....i agree show showed that she has the talent.....but consistency that's what matters in top tennis today...... one or two weapons.....so many came with them.....and perished in no time...... even the best of the best champs have to take the blunt of these one weapon players...that doesnt mean that they dont have a clue......Robin soderling was serving like.....that there is no way out for Fed.....but he stood there....waited for the other guy to hurrily finish off what he had and then cleaned him off..... Yes Sania has fantastic forehand when the ball bounces her height......but how many players and for how long will feed her with that shot....they will find out her weakness and attack it......you put the same Sania in front of Sharapova now.....she literally eats her off.....it's upto Sania to come up with improved game and challenege others........ She inspiring world over girls...i doubt.....her background just added more spice to her succes with fatwa nonsense.......If we are so proud of an Indian girl inspiring......what does serbs do? are they a rich nation......? As i told earlier....i appreciate her with the talent she has......just like Tim henman.....a good player but not upto it.....when it comes to big matches...... Middleclass women......half the circuit is serb and russians.......they struggle for their normal livelihood given their country's situation......Sania is privleged......even today she can hire any coach she wants.....that how big money Indian sponsors can throw these days.......I doubt her urge to go big........she is too satisfied with what she is have now.......fame..... | ||

Babai...sania had loads of talent...I saw one of her match live in newyork...she against maria sharapova...sharapova was absolutely clueless to sania forehand...but as the match progressed sania became more like a hit and miss player... I think the reason being fitness...nutrition...training...... In the current generation fitness is the most important criteria...Greece won EURO 2004 purely based on fitness...nothing more... I believe with in her limited privileges she did greatin the international ciruit...she introduced lots of middle class woman to tennis.....hopefully international coaches will be used and kids will be groomed from a very young age and we seem wimbledon champs in future.... | ||

Womens tennis is getting younger and power based these days....They are retiring in late 20's now and fading away by that age....except people like davenport...... all big players peaked around 20-24 in the last 8-10yrs.......Jana novotna tharvatha.....above 25 age grand slamm winners ye leru....naaku thelisi..... Sania was on good roll in 2005 when she almost beat Swtlana kuzetsnova who is like no.3 now.......i saw the match in centre court and Sania got a standing ovation....next week antha Sania was in papers for her bravery and most of all for her background and fatwa stuff......that is when she is supposed to peak.....after that rarely she reached those heights..except for that allegedly fixed....India tournament......her badluck may be was with injuries.....but her game...it's upto her to improve....she didnt and here we go....this is what we would get in singles from her from now on itseems.......first round.....hardly second round..... doubles lo she will make money......and some career i think..... | ||

I think she is better off not playing the bigger tournaments like Grand Slams and being in limelight. She can continue playing all other tournaments for making her career and maintaining her rankings. If she had it in her..she would have made it by now to the top 20. I think Shahar Peer from Israel was along with her in the same rankings for a while..but now I believe she is in the top 20 | ||
