Andhra Jyothi Doubts On CGR Collections !! Number three paper of AP, Andhra Jyothi (AJ) spitting venom on Pawan Kalyan’s “Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu” movie from the day it was released just because of Jagan’s factor. The movie was targeted on Telugu Desam showing the incidents during TDP regime and targeting them. AJ, Being a popular media, still showed degraded philosophy towards a particular movie. Generally, print media never talk about collections unless producer himself announce officially. In CGR case, Internationally reputed/ most reliable news agency publish news which is taken by all media groups, “India’s Largest Independent News Service ( IANS )” has published CGR collections and all the media including NDTV and other web media have republished the same article stating CGR has collected 52 crore GROSS. BUT, ABN journalists without knowledge on collections like Gross collections, Net Collections and Shares, published an article with a heading Did CGR Collect 52 Crore Or 21 Crore? . One more blunder in its article says that Taran_Ardash has tweeted that the collections overseas created a record by collecting 1.86 crore in the first week….LOL when first week is not yet completed ,How can Taran give first week collections ?. For reference check Taran’s tweet :: To enlighten them and give an idea about collections we once again take pains to publish the collections for them . As per IANS , CGR GROSS collections are 52+ crore and CGR’s India’s SHARE is 21.25 Crore (for 4 days) . So, AJ journalists first know the difference between Gross & Share . With such kind of articles one wonders, How you guys got jobs as journos, Instead of digging into CGR collections better dig your brains for knowledge before you guys Report rubbish and ask us to Decide !!!. Here is the ABN article … Did CGR Collect 52 Crore Or 21 Crore? It seems that the political chaos around Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu did not affect its collections. According to the reports of NDTV, CGR has collected around 52 crores world wide in its opening weekend. The film which was released on October 18 opened with tremendous collections on the first day but saw a drastic drop on the second day when Telangana activists started protests across Telangana. But from the third day the collections saw a steep increase in the Andhra region. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that the collections overseas created a record by collecting 1.86 crore in the first week. But there are other sources which suggest CGR has collected only 21 crore. According to these local sources, the film has lost most of the collections from the Nizam and ceded region which is the highest collecting region in the state. But despite all the controversies, the film has done decent business and is expected to collect more in the coming week as the theatres in Telangana will screen CGR with some minor cuts.
