i would think that the brahmins are progressive but the problem is the prevalance of brahmin hatred in some states like TN/UP etc. If it were a country full of brahmins, im sure they wouldnt mind the movie. the dangers outweigh the benefits, the critical thinking that the movie might induce might be offset by negative publicity or used as fodder by people with anti-brahmin agenda. It is understandable that they would want a ban on the movie, they are a minority and they need protection. Muslims wanting ban of the movie in pakistan is fanatism. Wanting to ban CGTR is also fanatism. | ||

Answer to that question is the answer to all the fanatics asking to censor released movies and shows because their feelings are hurt. be it NTR fans for RC or T supporters asking for censorship of CMGR.
