1997 dec Dilsukhnagar Titan Show room. One of my friend went to Titan show room to buy new watch for his brother wedding gift. He went inside and bought the watch. When he was leaving the show room he tried to open the glass door. As Glass door was having bable crack inside, Glass door was broken aprt and total door from the door handle to the top of the door glass fell on his both hands. The door was as big as 10 feet. In minutes bother hand cut and only little skin was holding hands from the body. I rember we got call when myself and my friend was in Computer class. We both went there in minutes as we were just two blocks away from the scene. By the time we reached that place his brother was lying on the floor and blood was flowing on the floor as if buckets of the blood flushed on to the floor. My self and my friend was holding both hands and lifted my friend brother to the hospital which was just opposite to the titan showroom. Hospital name was Nikhil Multi speciality hospital. First time i have seen two hand cut like that and blood was flowing like as if we opened tap of blood from the human body. In no time doctors called Surgery doctors from the Yashoda and Osmania. Doctors rushed to the Nikhil hospital to perform the operation. But by the time they reached the nikhil hospital the patient has lost most of the blood and they ask us to get atlest 2 bottles of the blood in no time. From DSNR to Koti Abids nampally SR nagar amirpet ... we searched everyplace to get the blood in every blood bank.That time we did not had any cell phone to have contact with hospital. We almost lost hopes. Finally there were many people at hopital who came forward to donate blood. This was one example where i realised the importance of the blood donation. Life is babool it will go in no time if we do not treat the person when he is in need of blood. This was just one experience. This kind of things might be happening in hundreds and thousands in Andhra pradesh. I remember when i was living in singapore , there used to be one advertisement. Two people fight in Boxing and one guy fell in boxing ring by loosing blood. Finally advertisment says Y fight and waste blood. Better donate to save one life. There they have very less resources to gather blood. But in AP even after having such population we were short of blood untill 1997. After that were were very lucky to have CCT. |
