Pan and tilt are manual control from browser UI. You can set to pan from one end to other continuously, but I find it not useful. In stead, I zoom completely out, draw/mark rectangles on the screen as "hot areas". These are usually doors/windows where there is a possibility of intruder. Activate motion control when you are away. If camera detect motion in the boxes, it takes a picture and send you as an email. I use DLink supplied software. | ||

does it track motion? meaning, if there is some motion, does camera pan/tilt accordingly and follows the motion? are you using s/w supplied by d-link? or someother s/w like ispyconnect etc? | ||

I have a DLink IP camera I use. It is placed in a corner and monitors the hall way. I can view from anywhere from inside and outside the home. Also, set up alerts (sends email with photo) if there is any activity when we are not home. | ||
