What do you expect from a national government? My expectations in this order - 1) Protect sovereignty of the nation (geographical, financial, cultural and historical). 2) Respect freedom, equality and justice. 3) Create infrastructure for citizens and step aside without doing business. 4) Little welfare for the poorest citizens.
