For Dell machines, you have the factory restore image in another partition. - completely power off the system - power on - as sson as you see DELL flash screen (while displaying bios info), press F12 - use option to restore from factory. Note: This works as ong as you did not format your disk manually previously. Good Luck. | ||

Download windows 7 disc and install. When asked for activation, put the serial number from the sticker on the desktop. | ||

they stopped giving OS CDs long time back, unless you pay extra money for CDs. if you have any issue with OS, you can restore to last known good version or even to original factory settings.. | ||

Dell PC 4 months back konnanu....cant find the OS and other CDs that came with it..any suggestion on how to get a copy of OS etc. |
