1) Narsi Mehta's "Vaishnav Jan toh" got introduced to me through Gandhi! When I understood its meaning (specially the importance of truth), felt really enlightened (mind you - only feeling) 2) Gandhi's idea of Swadeshi - the self respecting self-reliance 3) Hinduness in every thought and action! Thanks to Gandhi - learnt these and tried (and still try) to follow some of them religiously! On that note - a very Happy Birthday to Gandhi from a very humble man!
