kavuri is a very intelligent guy, purandeshwari is a bimbo compared to him (with all due respect to her). i agree with you that they like her, they like her because she is sweet and respectful to them, she is very gentle and cultured,they will go to her for comfort but they will not and shouldnt consider her opinion for the fate of 80 million people because there will be no intelligence in it. Her niceness will not give any value here, this is a problem that needs information crunching, guessing to take intelligent subjective decisions. | ||

I agree. In both BJP and Cong, most of the influential people are grass-roots politicians. You can think of Chidambaram, Pranab, Jaitley, Sushma etc. | ||

I agree they wont take a risk NOW. Even, Seema Andhra MPs will quit Congress. But, will they announce in the last 6-12 months when there won't be any risk with a no-confidence motion. If they think that they wont win MP seats in Seema Andhra because of Jagan factor, will they get desperate and announce Telangana? | ||

i think it is 2 or 3.there is a commie element in T and this is worrying for Congress. kodandram will not be quiet unless he is given political employment but that he will not be given. 1 is unlikely, they currently dont have belief that the 10-15 seats in T can be won even if T is granted. With BJP gaining ground, MIM will not accept to Telangana, Hyderabad State & Andhra might be formed with the belief that in Andhra and Hyderabad state the MPs will be on their side and a few T Mps can be bought. The Hyderabad separation will be put on muslims and mim. Muslims,Settlers,Other State Local condidates form 70-75% of the populace in Hyderabad. | ||

Please don't make any moral/ethical arguments for or against Telangana. We are talking about predictions and the Central govt's political reasoning only. The options: 1) Centre will form a seperate Telangana state before the elections. So, elections will be held in seperate states. Reasoning: They would get 10-15 additional MP seats in 2014 election and it might end unrest in the region. 2) They will say NO for Telangana and announce some package like funds + Telangana council 3) They will not take any decision and continue the status quo of still thinking since it is a complex issue 4) They will announce and pass a bill in Parliament before the elections but wont have time to form a seperate state. Don't know what will happen in this case. Only predicitions & no emotions please on why it is right or wrong | ||
