Watched it one more time! L.A Confidential,this was one of my favorite movies and it will be forever.I am always fond of detective stories and novels,and I loved this movie somuch. The movie was based on James Ellroy's crime fiction L.A.Quartet. Here the exude atmosphere that drips with darkness,relinquish and cynicism.The movie had been told in a great way that everyone has something to hide;the good guys are bad and the bad guys are worse.The series of murder investigation's by the policemen with their own style of justice was the point which I liked the most in the movie.The screenplay of the movie is just awesome.Kim deserved the oscar for the movie.Helgeland was the main person behind this movie with his fabulous screenplay and he won the oscar,also the director Curtis had done the great job. After reading lot of novels such as Farewell My Lovely,Savage Night,The Killer Inside Me,Fast One,L.A.Quartet etc I had watched this movie and loved it to a great extent.Noir based movies,novels and games are always awesome. Pearce excelled in the role of Exley,his peer relationships,a honest cop who loses control over the situation and had involved in the relationship with Lynn,the explanation that Exley gives the connection between different characters was just awesome. Overall the movie was an enjoyable piece of work and great fun to watch. Also,played L.A.Noire Videogame,which I loved it.This videogame characters and movie story have several similarities,I Will review it later. If you like detective movies,Noir genre movies,this is a must watch flick.
