ee Madhur Bhandark gani RGV sishyuda?? It looks to me like both get excited by a couple of points/twists in the story and jump in to film making to come with some ordinary stuff with some interest elements sprinkled here and there ... They both dont do a good research of the subject in hand, RGV's rann and Madhur's fashion, both dont depict the reality of the media/fashion biz though they try NOT to go the commercial way in their respective movies ... Strictly a DVD movie ... One can NOT sit through the slow and almost pausing to a halt second half, filled with lot of negative elements and pathos ... until almost the very end before the story takes a bit of a turn ... The problem with Madhur Bhadarkar i guess is that he does not want to deviate from reality but still fill up the movie with commercial elements .. the canvas becomes big and the picture becomes small in that effort .. konni chotla scenes choosthe tv serial quality untayi .. he made the life of a heroine quite complex, complicated and almost unmanageable for the heroine itself .. he gave all diff dimensions to the heroine that she indulges in Sx with heroes, uses her boy friend for Gay Sx, some times undergoes L'bian stuff and at the end of the day gets very confused whether she needs marriage or career ... almost every damn damsel in the industry is addicted to huff, puff and booze .. too much smoke and vodka on the screen ... he aptly concludes the movie by making the heroine to run away to europe and refuses to be identified with her original life and throws all the career in to dustbin .. that is the bottomline .. in between u would see one raunchy item number, lot of clea-vage, some times stunningly looking kareena kapoor and a couple of realistic but very interesting scenes ... never even once that madhur went above the board in his narrative ... Bottomline: Dirty picture is way ahead of this movie, both are similar subjects .. Voluptuous vidya balan wins the race over curvacious kareena kapoor Properly trained, a man can be a dog's best friend |
