Functional Architect – Operations Research Job Location : Hyderabad Mail to : marraju@gmail.com Job Description • Assesses the functional testing requirements of each feature • Assists in the identification of consistent test data to be used across features • Contributes to planning and review meetings • Develops solid understanding of JDA product areas from a functional perspective • Ensures the implementation and execution matches the overall functional design • Guides and mentors QA Engineers • Implements the test processes and test tools to create reusable test assets (example, batch automation) • Participates as a QA Engineer on projects and tests the product functions / features thoroughly • Participates in reviews of test scenarios and test cases • Provides cross-training and education to test and development personnel as required • Responds to all functional queries both from internal and external sources. • Responsible for continuous improvement of test coverage for existing features • Review product documentation of both existing and new features Required Skills: • Exposure to Operations Research models like Linear/Integer/Network programming, Pricing models, non-linear models • Knowledge of statistical models like Multiple Regression, ANOVA, Factor Analysis • Ability to see the big picture and understand the business requirements (desirable) • Strong Logical and Analytical reasoning • Exposure to Optimization packages like CPLEX/LINDO/LINO/ARENA • Exposure to statistical packages like SPSS/SAS/STATA • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exposure to any of the high level programming languages like C/C++/Java (desirable) • Knowledge of SQL (desirable) Mail to : marraju@gmail.com |
