//any brand suggestions?

Panasonic, Epson, Sony ($$) top in LCD where as Mitsu, Optoma, Benq leads DLP band. You can't go wrong with any of these. Look out for deals.

Make sure you buy home theater projectors instead of business class model which are used for presentations.

Don't spend much on screens (they could be expensive). See to keep the screen opened all the time. If you plan to roll-in and roll-out for every use, then a motorized screen is preferred over manual pull.

Maverick:

Price : 600-800

Aa price ki new projector ante kastam. Paiga... 3D kavali antunnav.

My preference, go with LCD. DLP has issues like rainbow effects. Read reviews and more at http://www.projectorcentral.com/

You can get decent used projectors at http://cgi.videogon.com/cgi-bin/fs.pl?projlcda
