Yes it is Adurti Subba Rao...Last week I watched Velugu Needalu...another good film in their combination. The story is very dramatic and in any other hands it would have turned out as a melo drama but here Adurti makes it in to a very social consious and realistic film... | ||

I guess its a basically drama with few charcters.. heard later they made a movie too. but never got a clue. And the kid lives for few more days before the summer vacations ..eating papers/books and shouting at the compund walls. | ||

You mean Aadurthi subbrao?if not , they also made very good movies like maro prapancham,velugu needalu..Aatreya ..manasu kavi..he can fill the songs with emotions where as other lyricists with words/rhyms. | ||

Basky , good post. similar ga inkoka story vachindi late 80's lo.. donno if they make a movie..but it broadcasted regularly in d radio. A professor tells story to his students for the consequnces of 'negligence'. how he lost his son..he will also hang skelton of his son to remind and lecture to others. his son will locked up in a scool building for few days due to sleeping tablets-which ended up no rescue and ultimately lead to his death under fasting. very touching story.. used to haunt me for few days. | ||

SUDIGUNDALU MAMA. HINDU MUSLIM BHAI BHAI ANTA OKA CHILD ARTIST UNTADU. Going back to the late 60s and turning back the wheel of time, if you remember the popular movie 'Sudigundalu' you will remember the great ANR and a talented young boy who is the subject of the film. Since some time, there has been a belief among many that the boy who played the young role was none other than Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna and that was going strong for a very long time. However, the truth is it is not Nagarjuna but the son of great artist of those times Kantarao. His name is Raja. Though Kantarao has five children, it was only Raja who had an inclination towards acting which led him to act in another movie in 1968 along with his father in the film 'Evaru Monagadu'. But from then on, he went into oblivion and now it is heard that he is leading a very ordinary middle class life just like anybody else. Not just Raja but even his father, who was known for his roles as king and a spirited warrior with swords, is leading pretty much the same life.
