I left Andhra 20 years ago. I left the state because I got fed up with a lot of things. Last one decade, I started feeling longing for the state. But in the last 2 years or so,looking at the condition of our state, people's attitudes, mentalities, day to day problems like no power, poor state of irrigation, real estate dhanda and land kabjas, irresponsible politicians, corruption what not with endless list of issues, I have come to a realization that leaving Andhra was not a decision. Going back to it would be. As a telugu born during these times, I feel bad that I do not live in my own homeland but looking at the wretched, selfish people that Telugu people have become, it is better not to go there anymore. |
