look at sakshi's spin on this. while all other newspapers are mentioning about the ministers complaint mainly about YSR's pressure tactics, he completely ignores that and brings in Rosaiah's name into the picture. http://sakshi.com/Main/Fullstory.aspx?catid=436234&Categoryi d=1&subcatid=33 Does he mean to say that ministers had lot of freedom when YSR was CM, while they could not say no to Rosaiah/KKR? Still, I am sure some brainwashed souls believe whatever sakshi spins. |

Either way it is difficult for congress to get in to power. If they let ministers out of this mess: - ministers will try their best to get jagan more seats (if Jagan has decent number of seats, they will be in driving seat to close these cases. otherwise these will come back) - general public won't vote for congress because of double standard on Jagan and their own ministers If they punish minsters as per law: - all the ministers (who earned so much in the last few years) go against congress openly - congress can claim they are against corruption (as they punish their own ministers along with Jagan & co). Unfortunately there is no strong local leader to take advantage of that. Chiru might be only person, but he won't get support from the state leaders. - so much uncertain situation will be created in the near future (T-movement will go back seat, may be better for congress) - good for the state & country as these stupid politicians will think twice before trying to do corruption I hope congress will take hard stand on this. |

Vatti Vasant Kumar (tourism minister) went public saying that the CBI had 'no locus standi' to book ministers for what he called 'collective cabinet decisions'. Anam Ramnarayan Reddy (finance minister) told newspersons that there should not be any 'witch hunt' of ministers, particularly those from the backward classes. "No permission should be given for his prosecution and his resignation should not be accepted," The action by the ministers on Monday is reminiscent of the demand made by the IAS Officers' Association in the wake of booking and arrest of senior IAS officers in the same Jagan assets and other cases, a few months ago. The officers had also questioned CBI's competence and asked the state government to provide legal aid to their beleagured colleagues. They had also said that they were being made scapegoats while the bigger fish (the ministers) were being let off. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/hyderabad/Andhra-min isters-bully-Kiran-to-bail-out-Dharmana/articleshow/15592674 .cms somebody treat these mental fellows .. IAS officers can not be questioned .. ministers can not be questions .. then who needs to be questioned .. looks like these guys have some magical wands to do corruption their own way and nobody should question .. particularly BC ministers have full access to corruption Wrong is wrong even if every one is doing it .. Right is always right even if no one is doing it!!! |
